Sound familiar?

Real problems. Real solutions. No hand-waving.

Boxing Day staffing

Your biggest trading day of the year is coming up. You need double the staff across three stores, half of them are casuals who each have different availability.

With Rosie: Rosie pulls in everyone's availability, respects max hours, and fills the roster across all stores in seconds. You tweak and publish.

The multi-store shuffle

Store B is short a keyholder for Saturday, but Store A has one spare. You need to move someone across without breaking either roster.

With Rosie: Rosie shows you who's available across all locations. Reassign with one tap — both rosters update instantly.

Casual availability chaos

You've got 15 casuals who each work different days. Tracking who's free this week via text messages is a full-time job.

With Rosie: Staff set their own availability in the app. Rosie only offers them shifts when they're actually free. Zero back-and-forth.

We built Rosie because we ran shift teams and hated the Sunday night spreadsheet.

Common questions

Can I manage multiple stores from one account?

Yes. Every store is a location in Rosie. You see all of them in one dashboard, move staff between stores, and manage rosters for each independently or together.

How does it handle part-timers and casuals?

Each staff member has their own max hours, availability, and employment type. Rosie respects all of it when auto-filling — a casual with 20 max hours won't get rostered for 35.

Can I create template rosters?

Yes. Build your ideal week once, save it as a template, and reuse it whenever you want. Tweak for holidays, sales events, or seasonal changes.

What about seasonal staff who only work for a few months?

Add them to Rosie with their start and end dates. They'll appear as available during their contract period and won't clutter your roster outside of it.

Does Rosie handle break and rest period rules?

Yes. Set your minimum rest between shifts, maximum consecutive days, and break requirements. Rosie enforces them automatically — you'll never accidentally roster someone for 10 days straight.

Is there a free trial?

“I managed a cafe with 15 staff. Every Sunday I'd spend 3 hours on a spreadsheet — texting people, counting hours, redoing it all when someone called in sick. I knew the maths could be automated. So I built Rosie.”

Rosie uses constraint-solving algorithms from airline crew scheduling. It's not a template filler — it finds the best valid schedule for your rules, every time.

Rostering shouldn't be harder than retail.
